Review the essentials
You find this depth of field story a little blurry? Are ISO a sensitive business? Are you a little slow about shutter speed? In short, you've got this damn photo technique in your collimator!
If by reading these (very) (poor) wordplay you recognize yourself, our workshop "Review the essentials" may well be made for you!
The session lasts 3.5 hours and is aimed at people who wish to review previously learned technical concepts, but who are partially forgotten or misunderstood.
The objective of the course will be to provide you with a deeper understanding of your camera and a more fluid practice of the technique, which is necessary before you can fully engage in creative photography.
During 3.5 hours, a professional photographer and pedagogue will try to fill gaps in your knowledge through these steps:
- First, your technical breaches will be detected in order to configure the course according to your needs.
- Secondly, the basic technical concepts, and those that cause you problems, will be (re)explained theoretically.
- Then, the trainer will propose a series of exercises; each one allowing the implementation of a crucial technical point and/or source of personal misunderstanding.
- Finally, an assessment will be made of each person's skills, and the trainer will give his or her final advice to continue progressing.
Technical prerequisites for this workshop: To have followed our beginners workshops (1,2,3 & 4) or to have been introduced to the photographic technique by another means.
